Welcome to the twenty-first century where we know the major happenings worldwide, not through reputed newspapers; who are you kidding? But a pink app that delivers important tidbits of information via memes. And if you hadn’t guessed that I am talking about Instagram, then congrats on waiting out your hundredth birthday. Just kidding. Or am I?
Instagram has taken the world by storm; ever since its launch in the year 2010, this is an American service that specializes in photo and video content sharing. The credits for this application are awarded to Mike Kriger and Kevin Systrom and have been raining the social media empire with an iron fist.
How to Lure in the Followers
As an artist, entrepreneur, digital creator, or anyone who wishes to utilize this medium to display their unique skills or anything that can be qualified as a skill, the second step is to gather your followers.
The first step, obviously, is to locate a skill set that can be displayed and has the potential to appear interesting to people. Which, I am sure, you have.
The art of gathering Instagram likes is no easy task; however, it may appear to look at your friend’s Instagram handles and wonder how the kid you know for sure talks to the same four people every day might have four thousand followers on Instagram.
And gathering followers for a business or a potential public account is a little bit of a difficult process.
Step One….The End
Having a personal account might have an easy way to opening an alternative account meant to display your work.
First, create your art or display account. Upload an interesting post, video, or reel. Use a lot, and I repeat, a lot of hashtags (#). This is a vital step as the Instagram algorithm is programmed in such a way that it picks up on the hashtags used and displays content to people who are seen viewing content that falls under a certain hashtag.
For example, a person who looks up landscape drawings on a regular basis is bound to receive your post if it includes several hashtags that support those sorts of pictures. #landscape drawings #landscape portraits #artoflandscapes and so on.
The time during which you upload the content also matters. It is observed that the number of viewers reaches its high point during the night. Therefore, posting your content between 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. is found to be effective.
And owning a private account helps you promote your work among your friends who could be requested to put up stories that reach a different circle and so on and so forth.
Wishing you all the luck in your endeavor.
